Qualification required for Steel - Structural Engineer:
- Prepare engineering designs from conceptual design, through tender to construction.
-Perform structural design and analysis calculations using given codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
-Preparing Detailed Technical/Material submittals for Technical/Material approval on all the projects.
-Ensure compliance to the requirements on all the projects, in line to all the municipalities.
-Advise Estimation department for non-standard products with preliminary design for estimation and costing.
-Coordinate with customers/consultant/clients wherever needed/requested/required under the project.
-Recommend development solutions and strategies
-Guiding draughtsman in preparing Shop/erection drawings.
-Checking structural drawings as per design.
-Design of base plate and anchor bolts.
-Preparation of design documents for submission and client’s approval.
-Design of foundations.
-Excellent communication skills are essential.
-Written and oral communication along with technical expert in a particular area of interest is required.
-Previous experience with steel poles, general steel structures (Ware houses etc.), foundation design.
-Strong skills in Analysis of structures, ability to perform detailed calculations is required.
-Having strong command on checking the detailed drawing (Shop drawings).
-Having industrial experience.(3 to 5 yrs)
-Having steel fabrication experience.
-Deep knowledge in structural design code AISC, AASHTO, ASCE, NESC, BS codes etc.
-Education: BS in Civil/Structural/ Mechanical Engineering.
-Experience: 3-5 years
-Programs : Staad pro, PLS CADD package, Tower Tnx, or any similar FEA software.
