- A Senior VSAT Engineer is a specialized role within telecommunications that focuses on the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) satellite networks. They manage VSAT hub systems, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, and may also oversee the implementation of new VSAT technologies and equipment. Senior VSAT Engineers also provide technical support, including Tier-3 support for escalated issues, and may be required to travel to customer sites.
