- They are required to maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus, and conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the safety of the vehicle and passengers. Bus Drivers must also be able to communicate effectively with passengers, collect fares, and provide information about routes and schedules.
- Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
CDL license required.
Passenger and school bus endorsement required.
Clean driving record.
Previous experience as a bus driver.
Experience working with children preferred.
Working knowledge of first aid procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
