Description: Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. Controls traffic by directing drivers. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Requirements: High school degree or equivalent
Significant work experience as a security guard or other relevant position
Thorough training and current certification or security officer diploma required
Basic computer skills necessary for reporting and communications
Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Extensive working knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Willingness to comply with all laws and institutional regulations at all times
Keen surveillance skills and detail orientation
Integrity, professionalism, and character beyond reproach
