Description
Handle telephone calls and take messages; assist callers with the necessary and accurate information.
Provide necessary support to ensure that patient registration process is in order.
Serve as a receptionist and cashier.
Checking eligibility of credit customers, checking validity of insurance membership cards, its eligibility and checking credit authorization.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other support staff for the accurate billing of patients.
Collecting and remitting of cash.
Collection of deposits and settlements.
Generating cash summaries and reports.
Requirements
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical law
Understanding of medical terminology
Experience with administrative and accounting procedures
Familiarity with databases and spreadsheets (especially MS Excel)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
