Required Insurance coordinator cum receptionist

Insurance coordinator cum receptionist is required for Full-Time and part-time in a well-known reputed medical center in Ajman with 2 to 5 years of Experience in Medical Center and fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage.

Job description:

• Handle daily insurance-related tasks like eligibility checks, pre-approvals, verifications, etc. for OP/IP/ER
• Ensure compliance with department turnaround time, quality, and productivity
• Coordinate with insurance companies/TPAs
• Coordinate with in-house doctors, CBD doctors, and relevant hospital teams for approval matters
• Coordinate with hospital finance department and head office for invoicing and claim submission/resubmission/reconciliation
• Evaluate and process claims in accordance with insurance policy terms and conditions
• Prepare final approval for OP/IP/ER claim for submission within the stipulated time frame.
• Identify and report back any type of claims observation or issues that may affect the process
• Receive and review patient files and documents for accuracy
• Ensure that all codes are current and active
• Respond to patient inquiries by phone and email.
• Schedule appointments and procedures and verify insurance information.

Requirements
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in medical insurance coordination within a healthcare setting, specifically in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE medical insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis codes (ICD-10, CPT, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using medical software, electronic health records (EHR), and insurance claim management systems.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities to address insurance-related issues and discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor while interacting with patients
