- Dermatologist Assistants, also known as Dermatology Physician Assistants, work under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist in a medical clinic or hospital setting. They assist dermatologists in diagnosing and treating skin conditions and diseases, performing procedures such as biopsies, cryosurgery, and other dermatological treatments.
- Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Previous experience in a dermatology setting is highly preferred but not mandatory. New graduates with a strong interest in dermatology are encouraged to apply.
Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
