Description: Assess patients
Examine patients physical condition and general appearance to make diagnoses
Treat patients
Insert needles into specific points on the body to stimulate nerves, muscles, and connective tissue
Create treatment plans
Develop personalized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and herbal remedies
Educate patients
Advise patients on the effects of their health conditions and treatments, and teach them how to manage their illnesses
Monitor treatment progress
Maintain detailed patient records and adjust treatments as needed
Collaborate with other professionals
Work with physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians, and psychologists to develop treatment plans
Follow hygiene protocols
Ensure the safety of their patients by following strict hygiene protocols
Stay up to date
Continuously update their knowledge and skills through continuing education
Acupuncturists may treat patients with a range of health issues, including pain, infertility, and respiratory disorders

Requirements: Accreditation as an acupuncturist.
License to practice acupuncture.
Good analytical skills.
Compassion for patients.
