Description: A Wedding event company is establishing a new flower shop and searching for a senior florist who can handle the shop, orders, and other responsibilities related to the events as well.
Florist Shop Responsibilities:
- Receiving shipments, coordinating all regional flower deliveries.
- Advising clients on possible flower combinations.
- Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.
- To manage inventory
- To respond to clients queries. (Prices, Products, Stock Availability, etc.).
- To have the knowledge of receiving orders online (i.e. E-Commerce).
- To record all ins and outs; on a daily basis that will reflect the sales and orders.

Florist Event Responsibilities:
- To have the ability and creativity for making, bouquets, wreaths, and wedding decorations, as well as other kinds of original designs.
- Work with team to understand the design and theme of the event and follow references
- The ability to stick to the budget and suggest choices accordingly
- Also participating in setups on certain events
- To order flowers from wholesalers to ensure an adequate supply to meet customers’ needs.

Florist Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a Florist. At least 7+ years.
- Acutely familiar with different types of flowers and knowledge of seasonal availability
- Ability to do arrangements on different surfaces like arches, stands, pedestals etc
- Approachable, patient, and forthcoming.
- Good verbal communication skills.

Requirements: Skills and qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in floral design and up to date on current design trends and floral techniques.
2. Minimum High school diploma or GED
3. Basic computer and social media management skills.
4. Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details
5. Able to create floral arrangements (both fresh and artificial) for different types of events and gift-wrapping skills.
6. Passionate, with strong customer service skills, approachable, and patient.
7. Ready to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Ability to promote the business online and face to face.
