Description: Buying and caring for flowers
Ordering, unpacking, and caring for flowers, plants, foliage, and other supplies from wholesalers and suppliers
Designing arrangements
Creating floral arrangements, bouquets, wreaths, and other designs for events, shows, and competitions
Setting up displays
Preparing and setting out displays for weddings, funerals, and other events
Delivering arrangements
Arranging delivery of floral arrangements to homes, offices, and event venues
Advising customers
Helping customers choose flowers and plants for different occasions, and advising them on design requirements
Retail duties
Selling flowers, plants, and related products to customers, and handling payments
Maintaining the shop
Keeping the shop clean and tidy, sweeping the shop floor, and washing containers

Requirements: Skills and qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in floral design and up to date on current design trends and floral techniques.
2. Minimum High school diploma or GED
3. Basic computer and social media management skills.
4. Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details
5. Able to create floral arrangements (both fresh and artificial) for different types of events and gift-wrapping skills.
6. Passionate, with strong customer service skills, approachable, and patient.
7. Ready to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Ability to promote the business online and face to face.
