- A security guard is a person employed by a government or private party to protect the employing partys assets from a variety of hazards by enforcing preventative measures. Security guards do this by maintaining a high-visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, looking for signs of crime or other hazards, taking action to minimize damage, and reporting any incidents to their clients and emergency services, as appropriate.

-Remain visible and vigilant to your surroundings
-Check bags of persons entering to ensure they are not carrying weapon and/ or outside beverages
-Makes sure everyone is safe and not in any danger
-Ensure that loiters are not entering the perimeter
-Ensure that exit ways and stairways are clear
-Patrol will report any damage to the property immediately.
-Ensure that any persons getting out of control or too loud are calmly spoken too and calmed down. Keep noise level down.
-You are not use your cell phone unless on break
