Description
Providing excellent customer service
Ensuring guests receive timely and courteous service, and addressing their needs and complaints
Managing staff
Motivating and training subordinates, and identifying areas for improvement
Supporting marketing
Working with marketing to execute promotional programs and strengthen relationships with tenants and shoppers
Planning and benchmarking
Conducting regular benchmarking exercises and recommending improvements
Performing administrative tasks
Carrying out tasks such as team scheduling, paperwork, and sorting vouchers
Other responsibilities may include: Checking in and out guests, Performing cashiering functions, Handling emergency situations, Maintaining a professional working relationship with other hotel staff, and Staying up to date on hotel facilities and tourist information.
Some skills that may be required for a Senior Guest Service Officer include:
Good communication skills
An outgoing personality
A positive attitude
The ability to work rotating shifts
A diploma or higher in hospitality or tourism management
At least one year of experience in the hotel industry or customer service
