- Client Assessment:
Evaluate clients overall health, including their physical, mental, and emotional state, to understand their specific needs.
Therapy Program Design:
Create customized yoga therapy plans that address individual health concerns, from chronic pain and stress to hormonal imbalances.
Session Delivery:
Conduct one-on-one sessions and group classes, teaching yoga practices such as asana, pranayama, and meditation to improve mind-body wellness.
Lifestyle Guidance:
Provide clients with education and advice on adopting healthier lifestyles, mindfulness, and specific yogic practices for maintaining good health.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of client progress, therapy plans, and session outcomes.
Collaboration:
Work alongside other healthcare professionals, such as Ayurvedic and functional medicine practitioners, to develop integrated and holistic treatment plans.
Environmental Management:
Ensure a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for clients in the studio or therapy space.
Key Requirements
Certification:
Possess a certification as a Yoga Therapist from a recognized and reputable institute.
Therapeutic Background:
Demonstrate a strong background in therapeutic yoga practices, beyond just fitness-oriented teaching.
Clinical Experience:
Have experience in clinical or wellness center settings, working with diverse clients.
Communication Skills:
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
Knowledge of Yoga Principles:
Have a solid understanding of yogas history, philosophy, and ethics.
Empathy:
Show compassion and a genuine interest in helping clients improve their health and well-being
