- An X-ray Specialist, also known as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist, is a healthcare professional responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce clear images of a patients internal structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing medical conditions by taking radiographs of bones, tissues, and organs, while adhering to strict radiation safety protocols and providing patient care throughout the imaging process.
- Requirements
- A valid license or certification.
Knowledge and experience in clinical settings such as during operations and when dealing with patients in terms of communication and safety.
Proven experience as an x ray Specialist (references required).
Excels at communicating with a team and has strong interpersonal skills.
