- Description
- We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer to lead drug safety activities, ensuring the monitoring, assessment, and reporting of adverse drug reactions in compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in pharmacovigilance processes and leadership skills to oversee safety surveillance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the collection, evaluation, and reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and other pharmacovigilance data.
Lead and coordinate safety surveillance activities to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacovigilance policies, procedures, and risk management plans.
Review safety data, conduct signal detection, and assess benefit-risk profiles of pharmaceutical products.
Manage interactions with regulatory authorities, responding to queries and submissions related to drug safety.
Supervise and mentor pharmacovigilance team members, providing guidance and training.
Prepare and submit periodic safety update reports (PSURs), risk management reports, and other regulatory documentation.
Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs teams to support product safety throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation and record-keeping of all pharmacovigilance activities.
