- Direct Patient Care:
Provide advanced clinical care for critically ill or complex neonatal cases.
Treatment Planning:
Actively participate in developing and implementing treatment plans for newborns.
Supervision & Mentorship:
Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and other medical staff in the NICU.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with consultants, specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Consultation:
Offer expert consultations for challenging or complex medical cases within the unit.
Teaching & Training:
Contribute to the academic programs, teaching, and overall training of medical teams.
Research:
Engage in clinical research activities and stay updated on medical advancements.
Quality Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based medical practices.
Leadership:
Take on leadership responsibilities within the medical department and contribute to departmental policy decisions.
Professional Development:
Pursue continuous professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in neonatology.
