Description: Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with severe or chronic breathing issues.
Specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the lungs and respiratory system.
Diagnoses and treats conditions, diseases, and abnormalities in patients lungs and cardiopulmonary systems.
Performs tests such as chest X-rays, CT scans, and pulmonary function tests to diagnose a patient’s condition.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in pulmonology.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonology.
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
Exceptional attention to detail.
