- Restoring or replacing missing or damaged teeth with artificial devices
Diagnosing and treating jaw disorders
Providing prosthetics such as crowns, dental implants, bridges, complete dentures, partial dentures, and veneers
Assisting with sleep apnea, cleft palates, and other snoring disorders
- Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Appropriate state licensure.
Proven experience working as a prosthodontist.
Sound knowledge of fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Detail-oriented.
