Description: designs and fits artificial teeth and other dental appliances to improve a patients smile. They work with patients to assess their needs and create treatment plans.
Responsibilities

Diagnosis: Assess patients dental needs and plan treatment
Design: Create artificial teeth, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances
Fit: Install artificial teeth and other dental appliances
Rehabilitation: Help patients with disabilities of the head and neck
Maintenance: Help patients maintain their oral health and function

Requirements: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Appropriate state licensure.
Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Proven experience working as a prosthodontist.
Sound knowledge of fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
