Phlebotomists job description focuses on responsibility for taking blood from patients and properly labeling samples with the patient information and lab test orders from the doctor.

• Could be a people’s person could have worked in a healthcare setting/showing interest towards Healthcare is essential.

• Knowledge of venepuncture techniques and collecting blood samples for testing.

• Phlebotomists also need to know important lab codes, storage techniques, and methods for drawing blood from patients with difficult veins, like infants and the elderly. If passion is there, training can be provided.

• Ability to work in multiple shift timings is a plus. Shift timings: 24 / 7 with multiple shifts based on resources time & availability.

Requirements: Phlebotomist Requirements:
Diploma in phlebotomy.
Proven experience working as a phlebotomist.
Understanding of proper patient identification methods.
Knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to drawing blood, handling specimen samples, and the use of relevant medical equipment.
Experience using effective puncture techniques.
Knowledge of testing protocols and the use of testing equipment.
Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
