Description: Dispensing medications: Pharmacists check prescriptions to ensure patients receive the correct drugs and dosages.
Providing information: Pharmacists educate patients about their medications, including how to use them properly.
Advising other healthcare workers: Pharmacists advise physicians and other healthcare workers on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
Providing primary healthcare advice: Pharmacists can offer advice and over-the-counter medications for common conditions like coughs, colds, and the flu.
Managing inventory: Pharmacists may manage inventory and perform quality control checks on medications.
Supervising pharmacy techs: Pharmacists may supervise pharmacy technicians.

Requirements: Requirements and skills

Proven experience as a pharmacist
Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems (eg. MediTech, Mediware etc.)
Good organizing skills
Excellent communication skills with a customer oriented approach
Integrity and compassion
Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
Valid licence to practice the profession
