Description: Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and disabilities in pediatric patients.
Preventative Care:
Emphasize early detection of illness, administer immunizations, and track growth and development through regular check-ups.
Patient & Family Education:
Advise patients and their caregivers on preventive measures, nutrition, medication use, and overall wellness best practices.
Diagnostic & Treatment Planning:
Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments such as medications, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Communication:
Clearly discuss diagnoses and treatment plans with children and their parents, adapting information for different age groups.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and reports to support the care provided by other healthcare professionals.
Emergency Response:
Respond effectively to pediatric emergencies and provide care for neonates, infants, and children with complex health issues
