Description: Diagnosing and treating: Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients for diseases or injuries of the musculoskeletal system
Performing surgery: Performing invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures to correct musculoskeletal issues
Ordering diagnostic tests: Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or magnetic resonance images
Prescribing medication: Prescribing medication or post-surgery rehabilitation
Educating patients: Explaining surgical procedures to patients and educating them and their families about conditions and treatment options
Developing treatment plans: Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Collaborating with others: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
4 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
Flexible working hours.
