Description: An Orthopedic Spine Surgeon is a medical doctor specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the spine. This includes both the spinal cord and the surrounding bones, nerves, and soft tissues. They are responsible for a range of duties, from initial patient consultation to post-operative care and rehabilitation.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
4 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA).
Certification by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopedic surgery and/or a subspecialty, such as sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, trauma, or pediatrics.
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
Exceptional attention to detail.
