- Description
- Diagnose spinal disorders using medical history, physical exams, imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans), and lab tests.
• Develop and execute treatment plans, which may include surgical or non-surgical approaches.
• Perform complex spinal surgeries, such as:
• Spinal fusion
• Disc replacement
• Laminectomy
• Kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty
• Scoliosis correction
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients’ recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, neurologists, pain specialists, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about spinal health, recovery expectations, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, operative reports, and follow-up documentation.

Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience in orthopedics, preferably in a consultant role.
Proficient in various orthopedic surgical techniques and procedures.
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatment methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
