Description: An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps individuals of all ages overcome challenges with daily activities, or “occupations,“ due to physical, mental, developmental, or emotional conditions. They assist clients in developing, recovering, improving, and maintaining skills needed for daily living and working. This involves evaluating clients, developing treatment plans, and providing support and education to both clients and their families.

Requirements: A bachelors degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American -Occupational Therapy Association).
Certified by the National Board for Certification.
Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
