- An obstetrician is a doctor with specialist qualifications. Obstetricians are trained to provide medical care during pregnancy (antenatal care), labour and birth, after the birth (postnatal care).
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
Fulfillment of the requirements of a residency program specializing in obstetrics and gynecology
Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or equivalent
Valid state license to practice medicine
