Description: Nephrologists conduct research and work to improve the diagnosis and treatment of people with renal disorders and other related conditions. They also conduct clinical trials to determine the safety and efficacy of new treatment procedures. This requires them to stay updated on the latest developments in nephrology.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in cardiology.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and/or a sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
Flexible working hours.
