- We are looking to hire a Neonatology Consultant to provide specialized care for newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, ill, or require intensive medical attention. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in neonatal medicine and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill or premature newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and best practices.
Perform and oversee advanced neonatal procedures such as intubation, ventilation, and resuscitation.
Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive neonatal care.
Monitor infant progress and adjust care plans accordingly, maintaining accurate medical records.
Counsel and support families regarding infant health status, treatment options, and prognosis.
Participate in neonatal research, quality improvement, and continuing education initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents in neonatology.
