Description: A Consultant Neonatologist is a specialized physician who provides expert medical care for newborn infants, especially those with medical complications or those who are premature. They work in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) and collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for these vulnerable patients.

Requirements: Qualification Requirements for Role of Consultant Neonatologist
• Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship and three years of residency.
• Completion of a recognized higher professional education program.
• Certification of higher professional education recognized by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD), American Board of Neonatology or CCT or Member of the Royal College of Physicians (or its equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience since gaining the higher qualification or as per HAAD requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered Consultant, Board Certified Specialist, CCT or HAAD recognized equivalent in the required specialty.
