Description
Patient Interaction:

Welcomes patients, checks them in, and manages the waiting area.

Answers multi-line phone systems, takes messages, and directs calls.
Provides information to patients and assists with their inquiries.

Administrative Support:

Schedules appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits for patients and staff.

Maintains organized and confidential medical and patient records.
Processes patient bills, invoices, and medical insurance claims.
Prepares, transcribes, and collates medical reports, memos, and other documents.

Office Management:

Manages faxes, mail, and overall office correspondence.

Handles filing systems and database management for patient information.
Maintains a neat and organized workspace.

Communication:

Communicates schedule changes and updates to staff.

Coordinates communication between patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Proficiency in administrative software and systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
