Description: Laboratory Technicians are responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals. They operate and maintain laboratory equipment, analyze samples, record data, and report findings. Laboratory Technicians may work in various industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, research, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities
• Collecting and preparing samples for analysis.
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Conducting experiments and tests as per established procedures.
• Analyzing and interpreting data, recording results, and preparing reports.
• Ensuring accuracy and precision in all laboratory activities.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborating with other laboratory staff and researchers.
• Maintaining and managing inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Troubleshooting technical issues with equipment and instruments.
• Adhering to quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.

Requirements: Lab Technician Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
Valid laboratory technician license.
Proven experience working as a lab technician.
Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.)
In depth knowledge of QHSE management systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
