Description: We are looking for a Laboratory Specialist to join our medical team.

Laboratory Specialist Responsibilities:

-Coordinate the Infectious Disease Detection and Surveillance (IDDS) project activities in the country and with laboratory management lead in the USA.
-Support in implementing IDDS project activities in the country.
-Provides technical assistance, laboratory strengthening and quality assurance/quality control materials and programs.
-Conducts assessments and audits of clinical laboratories performing services to the project.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
Valid laboratory technician license.
Proven experience working as a lab technician.
Working experience operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment.
Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.)
