- Patient Assessment & Treatment:
Conduct consultations and assessments to determine patient suitability for Hijama therapy, then perform wet and dry cupping procedures as needed.
Hygiene & Safety:
Maintain exceptionally high standards of hygiene and sterilization for all equipment and treatment areas to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Client Education:
Inform patients about the principles, benefits, risks, and required aftercare for Hijama therapy, and provide lifestyle recommendations.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and detailed client records and treatment documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration:
Work with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all local healthcare regulations and guidelines, such as those set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) or Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Certification: Certified and qualified in Hijama or cupping therapy.
Licensure: Hold a valid medical or therapy license (e.g., DHA or MOH license).
Medical Knowledge: Possess knowledge of infection control, patient care, and potentially principles of Unani medicine.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate and patient-centered approach, and high ethical standards
