Description: A Hearing Aid Technician, also known as a Hearing Aid Specialist or Hearing Tech, helps people with hearing loss by fitting, maintaining, and repairing hearing aids. They administer hearing tests, take ear impressions, and educate patients on using and caring for their devices. They work closely with audiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive hearing healthcare.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hearing aid technology preferred.
Previous experience in hearing aid fitting, adjustment, and repair is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
Technical proficiency and attention to detail in handling hearing aid devices.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
