- Description
- Hearing Aid Specialists are responsible for assessing patients hearing needs. They conduct hearing tests, recommend appropriate hearing aids, and fit and adjust hearing aids. Hearing Aid Specialists also provide maintenance and repair services and educate patients on hearing aid use and care.
- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Certification as a Hearing Aid Technician or similar qualification.
Experience working with hearing aids and related devices.
Strong technical skills and proficiency with hearing aid software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
