- Meet with patients, assess their needs and establish their audiometric profile. Take auricular impressions. Choose apparatus and arrange settings on hearing aid. Help patients adapt to their new hearing aid.
- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Certification as a Hearing Aid Technician or similar qualification.
Experience working with hearing aids and related devices.
Strong technical skills and proficiency with hearing aid software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
