Description: A Hearing Aid Technician, also known as an Audiology Technician or Hearing Aid Specialist, is responsible for fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids for patients with hearing loss, performing basic hearing tests, educating patients on proper use and care of their devices, and collaborating with audiologists to ensure optimal hearing outcomes; their primary duties include assessing patient needs, selecting appropriate hearing aids, taking ear impressions, programming devices, and providing ongoing support and follow-up care.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Certification as a Hearing Aid Technician or similar qualification.
Experience working with hearing aids and related devices.
Strong technical skills and proficiency with hearing aid software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
