Description: A dermatologist diagnoses and treats conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, including skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, and hair loss. Key duties involve patient consultation, physical examinations, diagnostic testing, prescribing medications, and performing surgical procedures such as biopsies and mole removal. They also provide patient education on sun protection and skin cancer awareness, stay updated on medical advancements, and may conduct research.

Requirements: Medical Degree with specialization in Dermatology.
Completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam.
Completion of a 3-year dermatology residency.
Attainment of a medical license.
Proficiency with dermatological tools such as comedone extractors, lancet extractors, and cryogens.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
