- Dental Technician duties and responsibilities Some of their day-to-day duties and responsibilities include: Creating accurate models of patients mouth and teeth from the Dentists moulds. Designing and fabricating dentures, mouth guards, retainers, etc. Creating crowns and bridges to restore a patients mouth or teeth.
- Requirements
- Accredited dental laboratory technology program.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
Extensive experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, such as 3 Shape and Delfin Dental.
Exceptional manual dexterity and precision.
Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great communication and collaboration abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
