Description: Clean teeth: Remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
Apply sealants: Apply fluoride and sealants to protect teeth from decay
Take X-rays: Take and develop X-rays to assess the extent of decay and disease
Educate patients: Teach patients how to brush and floss, and provide other oral hygiene advice
Update patient records: Maintain patient records and update their medical history
Sterilize equipment: Ensure dental equipment is sterilized and maintained
Assist dentists: Assist dentists with minor procedures and refer patients to dentists for further treatment
Apply temporary dressings: Apply temporary dressings to protect broken teeth or replace lost fillings
Promote oral health: Promote good oral health habits to patients of all ages

Requirements: Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
Valid licence to practice
