Description: A Clinical Pathologist is a medical doctor specializing in analyzing bodily fluids, blood, and tissue samples in a laboratory setting to diagnose diseases by performing various tests, interpreting results, and providing crucial information to clinicians to inform patient treatment plans; they often oversee the operation of a clinical pathology laboratory, ensuring quality control and maintaining high standards of medical practice.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
4 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in pathology.
Certification by The American Board of Pathology in pathology and/or a sub-specialty, such as hematology, forensic pathology, or transfusion medicine.
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
