Clinical Pathologist

Description: Examine and analyze body fluids, tissues, and cells to identify infectious agents or parasites
Interpret laboratory findings and test results to diagnose diseases
Work closely with other physicians to provide them with accurate diagnosis and patient treatment plans
Supervise and direct activities of clinical laboratory personnel and ensure adherence to quality standards
Ensure the safe and proper handling of all laboratory samples
Document all findings and maintain patient records
Provide consultation on the selection of tests, methods, and strategies for disease prevention and control
Conduct autopsies when necessary to determine cause of death or disease

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
• Valid license or eligibility in the UAE
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in clinical pathology, with expertise in histopathology, cytopathology, or molecular pathology
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret complex laboratory results
• Proficiency in laboratory management software and EMR systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with medical teams
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is preferred
