Clinical Pathologist

Description: The Pathologist will diagnose presence and stage of diseases using laboratory techniques and patient specimens. He or she will also study the nature, cause, and development of diseases, and may perform autopsies.

Requirements: Medical degree (MD) from an accredited university
Board Certified Pathologist in good standing
Anatomic pathology and cytopathology certification preferred
State medical license, valid and in good standing
Minimum 3 years’ experience practicing pathology
Impeccable work history, exemplifying excellence in the field
Commitment to continued study, keeping up to date on the latest research
Willingness to continue to develop and hone skills in keeping with the latest techniques
Cognizant of patient confidentiality and compliance with all legal requirements
Willingness to train and mentor junior staff
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to excellent patient care
