Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Pathologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing diseases through the examination of tissues, cells, and bodily fluids. As a Clinical Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in patient care by providing accurate and timely diagnoses that guide treatment decisions. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, and laboratory technicians, to ensure the highest standards of medical care. Your responsibilities will include performing laboratory tests, interpreting test results, and consulting with medical staff on patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

*Perform laboratory tests on tissues, cells, and bodily fluids.
*Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
*Consult with medical staff on patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
*Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Pathologist Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
4 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in pathology.
Certification by The American Board of Pathology in pathology and/or a sub-specialty, such as hematology, forensic pathology, or transfusion medicine.
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
Experience using lab testing equipment, such as microscopes and flow cytometers.
Working knowledge of medical data management software, including MEDITECH Anatomical Pathology, PATHLOGIX, and ASPYRA CyberLAB.
Exceptional analytical and research skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
