Description: We are actively looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the job position of an Anaesthesia Technician. The successful candidate will work at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital located in Dubai. This job has recently been posted by Mediclinic and is now open for applications from aspiring candidates.

Purpose of An Anaesthesia Technician

To work as part of the theatre team in providing quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide, skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anesthetist.

Job Duties of An Anaesthesia Technician

• To provide a high standard of care pre during and post-anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines and Operation Theatre standards.
• To ensure that the operation theatre and supplies are prepared.
• Clean, sterilize and disinfect all anesthetic equipment pre-operative and post-operative.
• Control anesthetic stock, medication and equipment.
• To maintain patient records and documentation.
• To actively promote patient satisfaction.

Requirements: Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT)
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
