Description: Mechanical engineers produce specifications for, design, develop, manufacture and install new or modified mechanical components or systems. Mechanical engineers need to be technically minded, able to demonstrate numerical and scientific ability and have problem-solving skills.

Requirements: Certification in Engineering or Mechananical Trade qualification
Experience in FMCG/Food industry within a development in a maintenance / production environment
Experience in a team leader or supervisor role in a maintenance environment
Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and OH&S requirements
Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the proven ability to coach and mentor staff
Excellent organisational, planning/resourcing and time management skills
Be Proactive and Self-motivated
Honest, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Have great attention to detail and be able to prioritise effectively and to adapt to changing priorities
Able to set up new systems and review existing systems for continual improvement
