- An electrical inspector ensures the safety and compliance of electrical installations by inspecting wiring, equipment, and systems to ensure they adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes and standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Requirements
- Must have basic arithmetic knowledge.
Must have good written communication skills and basic computer operator skills.
Must be able to pass Inspector certification within 90 days of obtaining this position.
Perform other duties as assigned by the ARE or RE.
