Description
• In-charge for overseeing all Electrical works on the site.
• Review consultant’s design and specification
• Prepare shop drawing & material submittals for consultant’s approval.
• Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
• Ensure the Electrical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the construction program.
• Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the Electrical equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements
• Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources and dealing with operational issues and problems.
• Coordinating with procurement for the timely issuance of LPO’s and vendors for the timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
• Ensuring that all company and sub contract personnel are complying with QHSE Policy.
• Liaise with local authorities for the approval of Electrical services drawings and service connection.
• Maintain site record for the RFC drawing, site notes, client inspection and snags Verify the material quantity take off Follow up clearing the client Consultant comments and snags.
• Attend meetings with client consultant and follow up the agreed actions on time.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited school.
Licensed as a professional engineer.
Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
