- Maintenance technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities and their assets. Their duties can include:
Building maintenance
Repairing wiring, replacing light bulbs, and installing new equipment like boilers or other machinery
System maintenance
- Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in elevator and escalator repair or maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator and escalator maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, electrical components, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
